I Never Say Out Loud

If you're reading this, you found the link. And honestly that's already kind of cool. Most people don't stop for things like this. You did. So I'll keep it real with you.

I'm not going to pretend I'm some top student with everything figured out. I'm barely surviving HSC, showing up to class half the time, and spending whatever's left of the day playing Valorant, CS or League. That's just what it is. I'm not proud of my attendance. I am pretty proud of my aim.

There's something about people who just exist around you without making it complicated. No agenda, no performance. You're just there and it somehow makes the day feel less like something to get through. That kind of person is actually rare and I don't think they ever know it.

I don't do grand gestures. I write code sometimes, I build stuff when I feel like it, and I built this because it felt like the most honest thing I could put together. So here it is: you matter to me. More than you probably think. And I wanted to make at least one thing worth your time to open.

Whether you laugh, screenshot this, or just close the tab, that's okay. But for a second it was real, and it was for you.

I don't say this enough: you have one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, and I still think about the songs you used to sing. That kind of talent is rare — please don't ever stop using it.

I kept my distance for a reason that had nothing to do with how much I valued you. You're one of the best students I know, and I didn't want anything, not even a friendship as good as ours, getting in the way of everything ahead of you.

Wherever your future takes you, I hope it's everything you've worked for. Thank you for the music, and for being exactly who you are.
